09.10.2008 Desislava’s success abroad continues.
Desislava’s concerts in USA are in progress. On the stage she’s doing a great job which isn’t a surprise for anyone. Her rambles are also going on. The charming singer visited Disneyland in Orlando and Universal studios. Besides, while was in Atlanta, she didn’t miss the opportunity to see the biggest aquarium in the world where there are more than 100 000 sea species. The building of the “Georgia aquarium” is like a ship among the waves. Desi took a photo in front of the CNN official building and also she was in the bar, where the popular show “Bar Cheers” took place. DesiSlava spoilt herself by drinking cocktails in a bar in Westin hotel – the highest hotel in USA. It’s in Atlanta and has 86 floors.
Desi is very happy because her new ballad “Black snow” is really well accepted by the fans. The singer is thinking of a video clip for the new song because she wants to enjoy her admirers in Bulgaria.
One of the new passions of the beautiful singer is learning and practising of reiki. Reiki is an alternative medicine, developed in the late half of 19th century in Japan. This is an ancient system for natural cure of body and soul using the cosmic energy Reiki. Desi met a woman in USA who gave her a few lessons of Reiki and now the singer is able not just to cure herself but also to help other people using the energy Reiki.
Furthermore Desi make acquainted with a famous American rap singer. His name is a secret because there is a possibility of a duet.
Desi’s adventures in the land of unlimited possibilities are going on till the end of October…

Desi is different again.
Desislava made a great show not just in Chicago, but in Atlantic city, New York and Washington. She was warmly welcomed by our compatriots in the USA and the professional organization allow her to use some time in walking, shopping, looking sights and even to be at a Broadway performance. Strolling around, Desi bought cups form every town. The singer is collecting tea cups from all the different places, she visits. She loves to serve in them tea or coffee to her guests and to tell stories about the cup and the town, where she bought it from.
While Desi was in New York, she visited a Broadway show and was not just surprised and excited, but also very impressed. She bought clothes and accessories form the famous Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, and in Atlantic city her curiosity led her to a casino. There she won a good amount of money and was joking that if she is lucky in gambling, maybe she will have success in other areas… Now Desi is looking forward the arrival of her sister who will accompany the singer during the last concerts.
During her ramble in Washington Desislava saw the White house, visited several museums. Most impressed she was by the Botanical museum where she saw pretty and rare species. Ahead of Desi is a concert in Atlanta – the town of the most famous rap singers.
On 10th of October the singer will be in Chicago in the ex “Ìarius café”, and will surprise her admirers with songs not pop folk style. Desi will show us her amazing voice while performing famous pop songs and native folk songs with modern arrangements. For the first time a pop folk singer will perform the songs of the day.

Chicago welcomed warmly DesiSlava.
Charming DesiSlava filled to capacity Monty's – one of the most splendour halls in Chicago on 13th of September. That was her first concert after 7 years before the Bulgarian community in Chicago. The talented singer gathered over 500 people, announced the sponsors.
She arrived in Chicago on the 12th of September, Friday, and her performance was the beginning of her American 2008 tour. Desi made her admirers to stand still, and the delay of the concert made the guests more anxious and excited to see their favorite singer.
Dressed in a unique red clothing, DesiSlava started the concert with the song “White nights”. Her repertoire includes “My darling girl, my dear boy”, “White rose”, “I crave”, “Men Want Everything”, her new hits “Crash” and “My pleasure, my pain” and measured Latino songs. The amazing voice of Desi proved that there is no musical style, which can be a problem for her. Favorite Balkan folk songs filled the dance floor in Monty’s. More than 2 hour concert ended with the Bulgarian evergreen “One bulgarian rose”.
Desi stayed more than an hour to pay attention to her admirers, to make pictures and give autographs. Desi will see her fans in Chicago again on 3rd and 4th of October in restaurant “Bulgaria”.

Desislava and “Katastropha” (Crash).
At last the song “Katastropha” (Crash) came to light. It is an interesting mix between heavy metal and Greek folk elements. Desi likes to make experiments and she gave us a proof of this with her new song. The performer stakes on rock vision and fling guitar in front of the cameras. The director of the video is Nikolay Nankov, and thevideo was made in“Plazza dance center ” in Sofia. Of course, the video is full of provocative scenes, showing the sexy appearance of Desislava. In the video clip participates Azis’s sister Matilda, as well as the Nova ballet.
The premiere of “Crash” video clip was in the TV show “Sblusuk” on BTV in Sunday - 07.09.2008. After that in Thursday – 11.09 , 19.30h. „Crash” was broadcasted on Fan TV. The song is very well accepted by the admirers, which is a great signal that Desi can proceed with her attempts of surprising the audience.

12.08.2008 Desi will tour USA.
More than a month and a half abroad is ahead of DesiSlava. The singer with the angel voice is already packing for a long tour in America, which will continue from the middle of September till the end of October. The performer of the huge hit “Beli noshti” is arriving on the 13th of September in Chicago, where she will be welcomed by more than 700 admirers. Desi hasn’t sung in front of our compatriots in the USA for a long time and her fans there will have the opportunity of hearing her new songs before anyone else – the rock ballad „My pleasure, my pain” and the song „Catastrophe”. The sexy singer promised to make a great show for her admirers in Washington D.C. in one of the largest disco clubs. Her schedule includes live concerts in Atlanta, New York, Boston, Miami, San Francisco, Atlantic City, Seattle and more. DesiSlava will perform various musical requests from her enormous repertoire, including pop, pop folk, latino, native Bulgarian songs and many more styles.

11.08.2008 DesiSlava is coming back.
After two months break DesiSlava is making a sensational comeback in her full glamour. The beautiful singer has prepared a lot of surprises for her admirers. She decided to take a rest during the summer, most of all because of her voice, but her fans were able to see her on the MAD TV Music Awards in a unique duet with Kostas Martakis performing „Mercy”. The whole August Desi decided not to undertake performances, but although she recorded several songs in Miami, Florida. At the end of the month the singer with the angel voice is starting to sing again, first in Bulgaria, later on – in the middle of September she will be touring in USA. Besides, she released the video of the song „Catastrophe”, where the fans will see Desi as a rock singer with a guitar. The song is pretty complex – mix of hard rock and elements of greek folk. We also expect the rock ballad „My pleasure, my pain”, music by John Themis. The song was recorded in 2007 in London, but soon it’ll be promoted here, in Bulgaria. All we can do is to look forward for the sensational comeback of one of the most loving singers in our country. And again to estimate her wish and her experience to be different, to be singer of present interest and to make songs from hard rock to pop folk.

04.07.2008 Desislava and Kostas - in anticipation for a second duet.
Desislava considers a new song with the Greek sex symbol Kostas Martakis. The song "Mercy" which Desi and Kostas sang at the Mad TV Awards was very well accepted by their fans. They showed a lot of provocative dancing on stage, which led to rummors about their relationship. "He is very attractive man. He is not a gay, no matter how hard the media tries to put him in this category. On the stage we just fit together. The song "Mercy" was enjoyed not only by the Bulgarian but by the Greek fans. Why wouldn't we make another one ?" Desi comments.
The is now for a couple of days in UK, where she works with her manager Yovko on a local project. After her vacation in Spain we shall be expecting if a second song with Kostas Martakis will come to life.

30.06.2008 Finally a vacation for Desi.
In the beginning of July DesiSlava is going to go for a one month vacation in Spain. More than 2 years she hasn't taken any time off and she considers it mainly a rest for her voice.
After her stay in Spain she is going to visit Miami in order to start the recordings of her new songs.

On 17th of June Desislava sang on the MAD Video Music Awards 2008 in Greece. Desislava is the first Bulgarian singer, who performed on the stage of the Mad Video Music Awards. Mad TV requested Desislava because of her huge popularity in our south neighbour, after her participation in the first Bulgarian “Mad Secret Concert”.
On the 17th of June, in the overfilled theater “Melina Mercury” in Athene, the sexy beauty took away the breath of the Greek audience with her amazing performance of the total hit of Duffy - the song “Mercy”, in a unique duet with the handsome Greek pop singer Costas Martakis. The duet managed to make 6000 people to sing with them. Desislava step out on the stage right after the Bulgarian musicians Planet Magic Live feat.Vessy won the award for “Best Bulgarian video clip” for the song “To F**K”.

This was the reason that made the greek medias to ask themselves is there anything more between the Bulgarian beauty and the greek singer. Desislava said only “No comment” and left the question open.
During the ceremony Desi was in one changing-room with another greek sex symbol-Sakis Rouvas. They saw each other for a minute, but there was tension between the two of them, which was noticed by the local journalists. Desislava said that she finds Sakis “very attractive”, but “only God knows what can happen”…

"Never end" – the most desirable video of MAD TV audience. With its forthcoming, the new Desislava single "Never End", exclusively broadcasted on Mad TV, is on the top of the countdown of the channel and second week is on first position.
The popularity of the video in the Internet is growing all the time. In the YouTube "Never End" was watched over 20 000 times for 2 weeks, and Desislava’s videos were watched over 1 000 000 times.

20.04.2008 Go-music/ISM music stars are presenting "Never End",
new single of Desislava, co-production of the Spanish producing company Go-music and producing company è ISM music stars. "Never End" is recorded and produced in Spain in January, in the recording studio of the valencian producing company Leima Producciones, and the video clip is made in February in Bulgaria.
The song is in dance style and was chosen by mutual agreement of the publishing company Ediciones Musicales Clipper´s, Go-music, ISM music stars and Desislava herself. The designation was this song to be commercialized in Spain by the multinational company Universal Music.
The single was presented in April in Bulgaria and Greece by the musical channel Mad TV.
After the promotion in the Internet, the DJ’s teams in Spain declare and make extended versions and remix versions, because the song fits all requirements (style, lyrics, language, structure) to overcome the boundaries of Spain and Bulgaria and to become a pop-dance referent in whole Europe.
With this new single, Desislava is showing for another time her enormous potential and various artistic talents.

28.03.2008 ”Beli noshti”(White nights)- song of a decade.
On the 25th of march, magazine “Nov folk” gave its awards for year 2007. Among the reader’s favorites was Desislava, who deservedly won the award in the most precious for a singer category – “Best live performance”
By reason of the 10th anniversary of the magazine, there were Awards of the decade 1998-2008. The award “Song of the decade” was given to the song “Beli noshti” (White nights), one of the most significant songs of Desi’s repertoire. She came at the ceremony with her duet partner Melinda. Both of them at the moment are in a very serious competition with another 11 famous duets for the award of the TV show “Sing with me”.
27.03.2008 Desislava stays in Bulgaria for TV show “Pei s men” (LET’S DUET)
Because of many engagements including rehearsals and live concerts for the show “Let’s duet” Desislava was stucked in Bulgaria. She and her duet partner Melinda are spending more and more time learning songs, based on the themes, given by the producers of the show and are willing to make glorious stage performances.

2.11.2007 – The new DesiSlava’s song produced by John Themis is called “My Pleasure, My Pain”. As already it was said by many of the medias, DesiSlava got in touch with John Themis during her travel to London in July. John Themis have worked with popular musicians like Kylie Minogue, Rod Steward, Elton John, George Michael, Boy George, and many more. John Themis is impressed by DesiSlava’s talent and offers her to work together. The new song’s genre is Britain rock – the type of T.A.T.U.’s songs. John Themis will be her manager for Great Britain and if the song has success they may record a whole album. "My pleasure, My Pain" will be released with it’s video that is going to be recorded very soon in Bulgaria by Valeri Milev. Meanwhile DesiSlava works on her Spanish album that is also going to be released very soon. Some of the songs in the album can be heard on her official MySpace profile http://www.myspace.com/desislavastar. And having in mind all the things DesiSlava is getting ready for the audience out of Bulgaria, she says that she will never forget neither her Bulgarian fans, nor her work here because most of all she loves Bulgaria. In order to prove this DesiSlava recorded a new club song with Maga that is going to be released within a month on FAN TV.
